The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) Centre for Continuing Education admissions into Short-Term Courses/Certificate Programmes (STC/CP) for the 2012/2013 academic session has been announced.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admissions into the following Short-Term Courses/Certificate Programmes (STC/CP) for the 2012/2013 Academic Session
A. Certificate In Craft Training Programme
B. Professional Enhancement Training Programme
C. Executive Certificate In Geographic Information System (GIS)
D. Computer Aided Design Programme For Professionals
E. Executive Certificate Course In Textile Design, Graphics/Printing Technology, Ceramics, And Pottery Design
F. Certificate Course In Sports Science
G. Certificate Course In Meteorology
H. Certificate Course In French Language
I. Computer Training Programme (Morning & Evening Sessions):
J. Certificate Course In Poultry Management, Animal Production, Fishery And Snail Farming (Weekend Programme)
K. Diploma In Finance And Business Management Technology
L. Diploma In Forestry And Range Management
M. Diploma In Sports Science Technology
N. Diploma In Library Management
DURATION: Two (2) Academic Sessions
PURCHASE OF ADMISSION FORMS
Application forms are obtainable from the Office of the Administrative Secretary, Centre for Continuing Education, Federal University of Technology, Akure at the rate of Five Thousand Naira (N5,000.00) only for Diploma Programmes and Two Thousand, Five Hundred Naira (N2,500.00) only for all other Programmes.
Sale of forms started from Monday, 2nd July, 2012 and ends on Friday, 5th October, 2012. Payment should be made at the Accounts Section of the Centre for Continuing Education.
CLOSING DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORMS
All completed application forms with the required relevant documents should be returned to the Short Term Courses/Certificate Programme Office of the Centre for Continuing Education not later than Friday, 19th October, 2012 for all Programmes
Candidates are expected to enclose four self-addressed stamped envelopes (35cm and 22.5cm) indicating the Programmes applied for at the top left hand corner of the envelopes.
