Job Summary:
• The Lubes Plant Engineer is responsible for the functional availability and maintenance of all operating equipment and infrastructure within Oando’s lubricant plants under his/her jurisdiction.
• In addition he/she conceptualises and develops all engineering projects in the plant and ensures that the projects are carried out as per FEED designs, specifications, and Environmental Health and Safety/Industry standards.
Position and Person specifications: – Good 1st degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering from a recognised University. – Minimum of Second Class Lower required with at least 3 – 5 years cognate experience within the Oil and Gas downstream industry. – Professional accreditation is an advantage – The position requires an individual with good oral, written and customer service skills and must have the ability to diagnose engineering problems of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment – In addition he/she must be able to communicate and interpret technical terms. – Prior engineering experience in the downstream sector will be an added advantage
