Red Cross seeks funds to avert Mali, Niger 'crisis'

The Red Cross on Tuesday called for emergency funds to "help forestall a major humanitarian crisis" in the west African nations of Niger and Mali.

While Google's social network Google+ may have accumulated over 90 million users since its launch in June 2011, its members are far less engaged than those on rival social network Facebook, according to a new study by comScore published in the Wall Street Journal on February 28.

Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan is the subject of a bid from an unnamed Qatari club as his loan deal with Al Ain inches to a close.
