This is really a nice mod for website traffic and awareness. It is now updated to support both SMF 1.11.1 and SMF 2.0 RC3. Great work by The InfoStrides...

New to most of this, I have a custom theme that I downloaded from the SMF themes site and is now my default. I tried to instal the ping this version 1.1 because I have version 1.1.11, it says that there is an error. How do I fix this? Is it because of my theme? Please help, I would love to have my forum be able to ping stuff, lol.

Can you post the screen shot of the error message?

no, it says the file is too large, but the text reads:

An Error Has Occurred!

This is the first kind of the error. The file is just 2kb and not an issue. What is the version of the theme you're using? Can you tell me the name of the theme? Can you attach your index.template.php and Display.template.php, so that I have a look at them?

In the meantime, you can try download and install the attached mod? Please give me your feedback.

These were not what I asked for. I was requesting that you download index.template.php and Display.template.php file from your root directory and sent them as attachment here.
