Head Coach of the Nigerian senior football team, Samson Siasia has been sacked by the Executive Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation.

The Executive Committee today, after its emergency meeting at the Glass House resolved to ratify the decision taken earlier by the Technical Committee for the Eagles handler to be sacked

The NFF directed its Technical Committee to sit next week in a bid to appoint a Coach to take over the team in the interim.

Siasia was axed for failing to meet a minimum target of reaching the African Nations Cup semifinals after failing to qualify Nigeria for the African Nations Cup.
