_ The 10 teams were paired into 5 home-and-away series played in the period from 15 June - 17 July 2011.
_ The 5 series winners advanced to Round Two.

_ The 5 Round One winners join the 19 next highest-ranked PMAs (based on the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking of
March 2011) that received a bye from Round One.
_ The 24 teams will be drawn into 6 groups of 4 teams each.
_ The matches are foreseen to be played in the period from 2 September - 15 November 2011.
_ All 6 group winners advance to the Round Three.
