Job Title: BSS Optimization HLS Manager
Department: Network Group
Location: Lagos
Job Description:
•Ensure national radio network quality and performance consistently achieves the KPIs and quality targets as defined in NWG Annual Operating Plan.
•Implement and monitor processes and procedures to ensure conformance to best practices and to identify opportunities for improvements
•Review and make relevant optimization input to BSS planning and dimensioning to ensure performance in accordance with Marketing/Business requirement
•Provide high level support for BSS Optimisation and end to end performance improvement in conjunction with Network Operations Radio HLS.
•Propose New Quality Targets and KPIs for approval and implement processes, procedures and technologies to ensure these targets are met
•Monitor processes and procedures to ensure conformance to best practices and to identify opportunities for improvements
Job Conditions:
• General MTN N working conditions.
• A valid drivers license.
• Additional working time is usually required on a need basis.
Reporting To: Senior Manager Access Network Optimisation
Employment Status: Permanent
Required Skills:
•At least 8 years work experience comprising:
•Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience within an RF Planning and Optimisation function in a core mobile telecommunications environment
•Three (3) years managerial experience with a telecommunications operator or Network Consultancy firm
•Vast knowledge and experience in Radio Network Optimisation
•Experience of working on a multivendor and multiband network
•Experience with Ericsson and Huawei equipment will be desirable
Qualification:
• B.Sc./B.Engr. in Electrical/ Electronic,Communications Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering.
• Masters Degree in Telecoms, Management or equivalent would be an added advantage
