Peugeot's sporty EX1 concept continues to set electric-vehicle speed records, this time on the Nordschliefe at Germany's Nurburgring.

The EX1 set a lap time of 9:01.338 seconds on the Nordschliefe, at an average speed of just under 86 mph. The new mark beats the previous EV lap record, set last year by BMW's Mini E, by a whopping 50 seconds.
